Adam,

As I understand it, the PAR takes up a 16-bit ISA slot.  It is a BIG
card.  So long and heavy, in fact, that I had to support it at the other
end (not the output end), as I have mine installed in a tower case.
I.e., just supporting the PAR in a cantilever fashion by its ISA slot
would probably be a bad idea.  Secondly, the manual for the PC PAR
says that if you're going to be using the TBC-IV, you need an open ISA
slot directly adjacent to the PAR's slot.  That seems to be due to the
extremely short (~1 inch) connecting cable provided for linking the two
cards.

Regarding your state of vulturehood, I keep seeing "Buy the PVR!" posts
emphasizing that the PAR and PVR cost the same, yet the PVR maintains
higher quality output.  Yes, but if you buy the PAR used... $$ 8^)
